Bar Brutal is a natural wine bar and bistro in Barcelona’s El Born neighborhood, founded in 2013 by
the Colombo brothers and winemaker Joan Ramon Escoda. Their concept is simple: champion the natural wine movement and provide its lovers with a reference point in the city. Over the years, Bar Brutal has grown into a seasonal cuisine restaurant and wine bar, emphasizing local, high-quality products.
The menu is always evolving, focusing on seasonality, freshness, and simplicity. It complements Bar Brutal’s extensive wine selection, sourced from organic and biodynamic vineyards, sharing a philosophy of love for the product, concern for the land, and commitment to honesty. With over 2,000 wine references, including exclusive ones, Bar Brutal has received several recognitions, such as the Best Wine Bar in Spain by IWC, and acknowledgment from the Slow Wine Coalition.
